Picasa Randoms

Too many photos from the last few days, so I have made some Picasa collages.

First up ...  school sports carnival, held on one of the wettest spring days I have seen in a long time!  Still managed to get all the events done, except for the relays.  Thomas and Jamie are both the lower end of average at sport, we are just not a particularly talented family at sport!  Can't have everything I suppose!  Love the photo of Thomas picking flowers, love that James thought to take it.  This was my first carnival where I was working instead of being a parent.  It was actually a lot of fun.  I still got to see bits of the boys's events, and because we are in the same house, we could be together a lot when we were back at the bay.  I also liked the organising and compiling lists and marshalling the kids into their teams etc.  Need to get myself a megaphone next time though!
Some randoms - Thomas and Jamie have been performing in the school play this past week.  They were both awesome.  Jamie's lines were always very loud and clear and he never missed anything.  Thomas was playing a gang member - it was hilarious.  The other members of the gang were all year 6s, and their parts were all "dumb yobbo" parts.  Thomas however was the professor - all his lines were very long, full of all sorts of tricky technical terms and he delivered them all wonderfully.  All week I have had parents and staff commenting to me on how amazing he was.  I was so proud I could have burst!
We also had a school musical gala night that Jamie and Thomas and I were singing in.  The theme was 60s, so we got dressed up in some pretty weird clothes!  Check out Jamie's flares!  And we fitted in a celebration of Veronica's birthday too, at Yoganup.

Lastly, Monday just gone was James's and mine 13th wedding anniversary!  Wow!  We celebrated with a dinner out the night before with the boys.  Henry liked to show off his spiffy clothes.  Jamie and Thomas liked their huge icecream sundaes and we all had fun playing with my new touch phone which James gave me!  Technically this anniversary is fur or textiles.  I gave James a pile of clothes.  He gave me the phone, but packaged it in a furry dog backpack.  Henry has since claimed the "woof woof bag" to carry his books in.  Too cute!
And this .. is Thomas's entry for a design a doodle for google competition.  It is a nationwide competition.  This years theme is My Future Australia.  In his future Australia, there is no more drought and all our unique animals can continue to exist.
Enjoy.
Amanda
