Tired .. sick .. sore .. tired ... sick ... sore.
Busy busy two weeks at school (6 to go!!). I got what I thought was very bad hayfever Friday last week, turned into a shocking head cold, nausea, dizziness as well. Then I soldiered on and took 52 year 1s and 2s on school camp (with lots of other adults too of course!!). Head cold very bad, driving up and down hills and having major problems with my ears and the pressure changes and not being able to clear them. By Wednesday I was in major pain from what I guessed was an ear infection - no wonder Henry gets to cranky with them! Woke up Wednesday night crying with the pain. Took myself off to a doctor on Thursday - no ear infection but do have antibiotics to try and clear up the gunk in my nose and sinuses, BUT I somehow managed to give myself severe barotrauma in my right ear!! One very stretched and swollen and slightly torn ear drum. At some point over camp I blew my nose when the pressures in my ear had not adjusted to whatever height I was at at that point and I blew the eardrum outwards. It is now red and swollen and scarred - so will take some time to heal! Meanwhile I have antibiotics, nurofen, ear drops and a nasal spray to try and combat all the pain and swelling and infection! Blah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
