Huge Catch Up

Finally found some time to update the blog - what a crazy first 4 weeks of term we have had, and there are only 4 more to go!!!

 Henry has decided that dressing up is great fun - Buzz is his favourite but he swings quite quickly between both Buzz and Woody (and I mean QUICKLY, like 5 costume changes in 5 minutes!!).  He did very happily wear Thomas's old skeleton towel to day care for their Halloween day though.

 We had fun at the latest assembly - Jamie was in the Art Wearable Art Extravaganza Item.  He designed and painted this shirt - it is very cool!  Then there were a bundle of awards presented for various academic stuff that had been happening lately.  It got quite comical at the end as Jamie kept barely making it back to his seat before he collected another one!  Thomas was VERY happy to receive his - Distinction in the Australian Maths Comp.  Jamie's were High Distinctions in the same maths comp, the ICAS Maths test and ICAS English test.  2 very happy boys!

 James found me this bottle of Coke - loved it, didn't share it with him though!

 I went to my 20 year high school reunion.  It was so much fun.  I really haven't seen anyone since high school and loved catching up with the crowd I used to hang with.  I did struggle to remember a lot of faces, as I really did try and be a mouse and hide in the corner in Year 11 and 12, obviously failed as they all remembered me!

 Came home to these photos James had snapped of Jamie and Thomas playing in the cubby.  Henry has been so good for Jamie's imagination, and Henry just adores Jamie ("Dee")

Absolutely love the photo of Henry on his own and am very impressed that James thought to take it and took such a stunning shot!!

And this photo was my take at a photography challenge, to take a photo of what you are doing on 11/11/11 at 11:11:11am.  Mine is a little boring, cleaning out a storeroom at school!

As for other random things that have happened - Thomas won a DSi in a McDonalds Happy Meal Competition.  Henry has now learnt the word DS!!  Jamie and Thomas are in rehearsals for this January's pantomime.  Jamie is sooo close to finishing his cub scout Grey Wolf badge, which is going to be a huge relief.  Henry had a hearing test and passed!  I sort of wanted him to fail, so I had more reasons to convince the ENT to give him grommets!  Oh well.  And next weekend is going to be huge.  Andrew and Eloise are getting married.  We have a prewedding party on the Friday, for which I have been given leave from school to attend it, then the big day and night on Saturday, and Ganma is flying over to babysit so that James and I can stay overnight.  Then there is a breakfast on the Sunday and then back home for a little birthday party for Henry.  He's going to be 3!!!!!!!
